SOLUTION FOR REVERSE ENGINEERING
Reverse engineering is the process of redesigning a given physical model by digitizing the surface of the model using coordinate measuring equipment and constructing a design model from the digitized data. StarGlobal 3D offers a range of reverse engineering services using precision measurement equipment from FARO (USA) to collect construction and structural data with an accuracy of ±1mm. From this dataset, the engineering team will re-model from the digitized data, while also being able to test the assembly of components and structures when discrepancies are found in the construction or calculate the volume needed for fill, area/volume of the construction.
Point clouds & panoramic images can also be selected as deliverables. We will work with you to develop & provide products according to your requirements.
