From the sunny and windy South to the solemn Central region, then up to the ancient North,StarGlobal 3Dis persistently on the journey to digitize the map of Vietnam. With modern 3D technology, scenic spots, tourist destinations, and historical sites gradually come to life in vivid detail – not only in images but also in the depth of culture and stories. Each region is a piece of the Vietnamese soul, from majestic nature to time-honored structures. All are connected into an interactive digital map, opening up a new way to perceive and preserve the essence of Vietnam in a close and sustainable manner.

The South: Beginning the journey from the prosperous southern land

1. Kien Giang – In the Southwest Sea and Sky

Blue seas, dense forests, and smooth sandy beaches – Kien Giang opens up a multi-layered space of nature and humanity. In the journey to recreate the digital map of Vietnam, this place offers a starting point that is both poetic and profound. Mui Nai is just one of the stops, yet it evokes an unusually close and peaceful feeling. Light, sound, space – everything appears so realistically that the videographer is no longer simply collecting data, but is capturing feelings to convey through technology.

2. An Giang – Where nature meets belief

Turning through the land of An Giang, the landscape gradually shifts from sea to mountains, with Mount Cam standing tall in the heart of the Seven Mountains. The grandeur of the scenery here not only overwhelms people but also brings a sense of peace and reverence. When recreating this scene, it is important not only to accurately depict every detail but also to maintain the characteristic atmosphere – so that viewers can not only see but also feel the spirit of this culturally rich land.

Central Vietnam: A place where time leaves its mark on every roof tile, mountain range

1. Quang Nam – Awestruck before a living monument

The Mother Thu Monument – a symbol of motherhood, of silent sacrifice through two wars of resistance

In a land that has witnessed many historical ups and downs like Quang Nam, a special location where the team stopped is the Mother Thu Monument – a memorial dedicated to Mother Nguyen Thi Thu, a heroic Vietnamese mother who lost 11 children and grandchildren in the resistance. When collecting data for digitization, Star Global not only recorded images of the monument but also accessed materials about Mother’s life – a symbol of silent sacrifice. Recreating this space using 3D technology is not merely about recording images, but a way to recount a part of history, so that viewers today and in the future can better understand the spiritual strength of Vietnamese women in war.

2. Quang Binh – Entering the earth, touching the grandeur

If Quang Nam evokes reflections from the depths of history, then Quang Binh draws people into the overwhelming beauty of nature. Welcoming the production team with very real challenges – high humidity, low light, and complex terrain. But it is precisely there, in the heart of the limestone mountains, Phong Nha – dubbed the 'First Cave of the South' – that the landscape makes the entire team continuously stop to capture every detail. Each stalactite, flowing stream, or stone wall has a unique shape – as if sculpted over millions of years.

The pristine beauty of nature captured by technology

The digitization here is not merely a technique, but a meticulous process of observing and recording each structure – from the sparkle of the stone arch to the way sound echoes in the space. Each angle, each 3D scan is an effort to preserve the grandeur of nature, so that viewers, even without stepping foot there, can still feel the spectacular spirit of Phong Nha.

The North: Traditional traces harmonizing with the march of time

1. Bac Ninh – The song that echoes from the old communal house

If the Central region evokes reminders of heroic history, Bac Ninh brings a sense of warmth and closeness. In Diem Village – an ancient quan ho village – one can find not only smooth melodies but also a community bond that permeates every house, betel trees, and small alleys. The recreation of the cultural space here is not just about reconstructing the scenery, but about 'recreating' the atmosphere – where the love songs of the young men and women never fade. Perhaps what moves the viewers the most is not the images, but the familiar feeling that rushes back when hearing an old melody echoing.

2. Son La – The industrial beauty in the heart of Northwest nature

Rising above the winding mountain roads, Son La appears as a land full of contrasts – both pristine and majestic. Located in the high mountainous region of Northwest Vietnam, Son La Hydropower Plant is not only one of the largest hydropower projects in Southeast Asia but also a symbol of the strength of the Vietnamese people.

Filming at Son La Hydropower Plant offers a unique experience, completely different from natural destinations or cultural monuments. Instead of ancient or magnificent landscapes, this is a vast technical space – with gigantic concrete blocks, continuously operating machinery, and absolute precision in every detail.

Telling the story of this human-marked project, amidst treacherous mountains and high complexity, is an important part of our journey to digitize Vietnam's map using 3D technology.

If you are curious about how 3D technology can change the travel experience, try visiting Ho Chi Minh City – one of the first places we digitized in collaboration with the city's Department of Tourism. Everything is still ongoing, but you can start from here.

Conclusion

The digitization journey is not just a technology project – it is also a way to tell stories, preserve, and spread the beauty of Vietnam.

Each land we pass through adds another slice of humanity, culture, and nature – helping viewers understand more and remember longer, even if they have never set foot there.

The mentioned landmarks are just a part of the bigger picture, and this journey is not yet over. There are still many places waiting to be seen – not just with the eyes, but with technology and appreciation.
