Head of Technology Department

As one of the key positions in the Technology Department at Star Global, you will directly participate in the orientation, construction, and development of technology products serving the field of 3D/360 digitization, digital transformation, and digital data platforms.
The position is suitable for candidates with a technology mindset, team management skills, and a desire to accompany the development of practical technology products in various fields such as tourism, education, real estate, museums, heritage, infrastructure, etc.
Take responsibility
- Plan, build, and implement applications to meet the operational needs of the company.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to conduct surveys, analyze business requirements, research, and propose implementation solutions.
- Participate in supporting the operation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing applications.
- Propose recruitment, participate in the recruitment process, manage, train, and evaluate personnel in the technology department.
- Participate in building regulations and processes for the company's IT operations.
- Participate in building and developing new features for the company's products.
- Plan the work of individuals and the team. Update, monitor, and implement according to the plan weekly, monthly, and yearly.
- Check reports and evaluate the effectiveness of work, awareness of individuals and the team.
- Participate in supporting the implementation of bidding documents related to the expertise of the department.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Board of Directors.
Request
- Graduated in IT and related fields.
- At least 3 years of programming experience and 6 months in a team leader/department head position.
- Knowledge of database management, object-oriented programming, and web application development.
- Knowledge and experience in languages: HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript.
- Knowledge and experience with MySQL database management systems.
- Experience or knowledge of GitHub and GitLab.
- Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to lead, motivate, manage, and evaluate work performance.
- Basic English communication.
- Open-minded, eager to learn and proactive, able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Hardworking, committed, able to withstand high pressure in work.
If there is, it is an advantage
- Experience in developing website products, management platforms, or operational systems.
- Experience working on projects related to digital maps, 3D/360, visual data, or online interactive platforms.
- Product development mindset, optimizing user experience and system performance.
- Ability to research, propose solutions, and improve products during development.
- Experience coordinating with Design, Marketing, and Project departments during product implementation.
- Knowledge of ThreeJs, Krpano.
